Cherry red sides are chromium tanned USA cattlehide; these are 21-27 sq ft each and priced at $125 each, 48-state USA shipping included.  3-3.5 oz in thickness (1.2-1.4 mm), in a color that says, “I’m a fire truck” and at this point you’re supposed to stop for a minute and say right out loud:  “Firetruck?” (Thanks to Bobcat for that one.)  These sides were left overs from a handbag company up New England way.  So, yes, you can make handbags or a duffel out of this, or maybe a vest or something else that would be comfortable to wear.  You and your red clothing.  What?  NO!  The rest of us DO NOT talk about it when you’re not around.  Oh, one more thing – this leather ships free to the 48 contiguous United States, and can also ship free to AK, HI, PR, GU, USVI as long as you don’t go haywire about us folding the leather to fit in flat rate boxes.  Cool.
