For your veg tan leathers this is a nice tool – it’s essentially a wood burner that has a variable temperature dial so you can use the right temperature setting (0 up to 600 degrees F) for your leather.  Comes with a chisel point so you can try to create a better looking blue marlin than Charlie did,  and the point unscrews so you can put in one of the other 6 points that come with the iron.  Brander also comes with a folding stand and it has a handy on/off switch in the cord.  Heats up to working temp in about 5 minutes.
