This is a very simple little brass machined tool – helps your hand sewing/hand stitching to move along a bit quicker. Loosen the knob on top, insert one of the three needles that are included, tighten again, and use it like an awl, only this awl has holes or hooks for your thread.
Comes with three needles: Straight stitching, straight hooking, and curved hooking, and there’s a hank of sort of rusty brown thread for you to experiment with.
