Brightly colored USA cattlehide suede leathers – ‘Watermelon’ is what the tannery calls this one.
Thickness is 3.5 to 4 oz (about 1/16″). Very soft leather; mellow temper. Good for garments or bags.
These are bends, a specific portion of the steer hide that yields good suede; they average about 8 to 10 square feet of surface area and are priced at $45 each, USA shipping included.
