Dark Wood Jenny Trunk

T1983 Dark Wood Jenny Trunk with Brass Bands and Buttons, 1870s.  we used a darker stain on this  one and we really like how it turned out.  Brass buttons and banding have been shined up and clear coated with tung oil – very protective and doesn’t feel oily at all – it dries like varnish.  Measures 28 inches wide, 17 inches front to back, and 17 inches tall.  The lock works, we think, but we didn’t find the correct working key.  We’re including our best fitting key, so that it can look like it works.  Cool dust cover over the keyhole tells us this trunk was intended for stage coach travel, the keyway cover tries to keep dust off your stuff, right?  Also, there’s a knothole in the back of the trunk, to let the mice out, ok?  This is T1983 and we have this one at $400 flat, 48-state USA shipping included.
