T1962 Hip Roof Style 1880s Pressed Metal Covered Trunk in Brick Brown.  The finish on this trunk is tung oil based, with a good dose of reddish-brown pigment added in.  A nice style, sold by Sears in the 1880s, and probably made by Martin Meier Co.  Measures 33 inches long, 24 inches front to back, and the top is 24″ above the floor.  The lock wants to work but hangs up a little.  One original key included, and maybe just a dose of WD40 is all it needs.  Nice trunk, with style.  This is T1962 and it’s $500 with free 48-state USA shipping.  Did you know that we knock $100 off the price of most of our trunks if you come to our shop and take it with you?  That’s fee shipping, ain’t it?  Sort of.
