1920s Dependo Steamer Trunk
In the 1920s you get yourself a 'packing trunk' to hold your stuff whilst you were out to sea, so this trunk style was a workhorse.
Nothing fancy, but hundreds of thousands of these classic steamer trunks criss-crossed the planet. This one was made by
Dependo, which was one of Seard Trunk & Bag's companies, based in Petersburg, VA. Lock works, comes with one key. The inside is still lined with the
original paper - it has a few stains on it but seems good overall. This trunk measures 36 inches long by 22 inches front to back, and it's 23 inches tall.
