Trunk Corners

These corner bumpers are
comprised of very shiny plated brass, antiqued brass, or nickel on
steel. They're very sturdy. Each 'ear' of the corner will extend
about 2 inches (50mm) onto the front, top, and side of the trunk.
These can also be used on
bottom corners and they will actually lift the trunk off the floor about
a quarter of an inch, so you can use them in place of trunk feet.
Each corner attaches with
three nails, which are not included. Our CRNR-01 corners are priced
at $15 per set of four (free shipping for USA customers).
Individual corners are available
for $5 each. A set of 8 (complete top and bottom for one trunk) is
$25.00, delivered within the USA.

Trunk Edge Clamps - For the Edges of Your Trunk
CRNR-02
These fit over the end of hardwood slats that are 1.5" wide (38mm), or just put them on any edge of the trunk. We sell these individually, or in sets of 4 or 8.
They're 1.5" wide (38mm) and each end is 1 and 3/4" (45mm) long. Each requires four nails (no screws allowed). Choose bright brass (gold), antique brass, or nickel-plated steel (silver)

Very Nice Bright Brass Squared Corners
Squarish Shiny Brass Large Trunk Corners, CRNR-21
Brass plated steel, very shiny, and this is probably the sturdiest brassed corner we sell.
Each 'leg' reaches about 2-1/2" (63mm) onto the trunk or box.

Brass or Nickel Automobile Trunk Corners
These are made to look like old original stock corners, made in the early 1900s for use by companies
that made automobile trunks. They're brass or nickel-plated steel. Each 'ear' of these corners extends up onto the trunk for about 1-3/8 inches (35mm).

Rounded Corners
Rounded corners save your shins when you go bumping into your trunk in the middle of the night. Remember when you could sleep all the way through?
Those years sure went fast, didn't they? Hoo boy, well, anyway, CRNR-06 was popular on automobile trunks. These are called 'gunmetal' which means 'almost black.'
Each leg reaches up onto the trunk by about 1-3/4" (45mm), requires 3 nails to attach. CRNR-06 in Gunmetal, sets of 4 for $12.00, USA shipping included.
Trunk Corners with Feet
Available in nickel-plated (these are the silver ones) (sold out of black),
these will run up about 1.75" on each of the three sides. The nail holes are 1.5 inches (38mm) from each corner.
Sold in sets of four. Note that the nickel ones have a round foot; the black ones have a dimple,
but both work well as trunk feet. They were actually made this way to stack together (the round one sits inside the dimple one), but

Pointed Standard Trunk Edge Clamps
Standard edge clamps are meant for where slats that are anywhere from 1-3/8" to 2" wide come together, or
for just about anywhere along the edge of your trunk or box. Brass-plated steel.
Each 'leg' is 1-3/4" (45mm) long, and these clamps are 1-3/8" wide (35mm). Sold in sets of 4 for $12.00

Your Basic 90-Degree Brass Plated Steel Edge Clamps
CRNR-14 is a basic corner protector/edge clamp that's designed to fit anywhere along the edge of a trunk, or, if you want
to place it on a slat, it fits over a slat that's 1-3/8" wide or wider. Probably looks best on a 1-1/2" slat. Each 'end' is 1-7/8" long (45mm); 1-3/8" (35mm) wide.

LARGE Black Trunk or Case Corners

These corner bumpers are very sturdy, black finish, made for use on large musical instrument or equipment cases, but they also look pretty good on many old trunks.
Each 'ear' of the corner will extend about 2-3/4 inches (70mm) onto the front, top, and side of the trunk.
Use a ruler, please, and put it on the corner of your trunk or box so that you get an idea how BIG these are.
These can also be used on bottom corners and they will actually lift the trunk off the floor by about 3/8 of an inch (10mm).

Basic Black Trunk or Box Corners
CRNR-23 is a basic black box corner. Fits on standard 90 degree corners, requires three nails to attach. Black enamled
finish is baked on and quite durable, so these are useful on trunks or boxes, like musical instrument cases or tackle boxes or whatever.
You know - stuff that gets used. These are up to the task. Called a basic 1-3/4" corner (45mm), because that's how far onto each face of the box

TINY Box or Case Corners

Our CRNR-22 corners are popular with those who build humidors, wine boxes, doll trunks, and other small boxes.
They run up onto each face of the trunk by 3/4 of an inch.
Attaches with 3 small pins or nails (not included). Antique brass finish looks like old bronze.

Brass plated steel corner clamps are made for right angles and require 2 nails/screws/rivets to attach to your project (NOT included).
Each leg of this clamp is 1-1/2" long and 5/8" wide (38mm by 16mm). From the corner, holes are at 1-1/8" or 28mm. Hole diameter is 5/32" or 3.8mm.

Small Black Trunk Corner Clamps

Brass Corner Guards
The squares you see in the two pictures above are 1 inch by 1 inch
Decorative edges are cast brass, and that means solid brass. The plating won't fall off in a few years and leave behind a mess of rust, because there is no plating on these.
Some makers in the late 1800s used these to protect the edges of their trunks, but over time this style of edge became more decorative than anything else.
Nail them in place and then watch your shins, brother, because you don't want to smash it into one of these brass edges in the middle of the night.

Cast Brass Slat Clamp or Corner Guard
Solid cast brass slat clamps can also be used on any corner anywhere on your trunk. Very decorative, and very sturdy.
Basically it's 1.5" wide and 2.25" along each leg. Nice addition to any trunk or case. Pretty heavy - each one weighs 2.2 ounces.

Small Cast Brass Slat Clamp or Corner Guard
This is CRNR-26, made of solid cast brass just like the brass items posted above. This is a small one, meant to protect the edge/corner of your trunk.
This little clamp can on any edge anywhere on your trunk. Very decorative, and very sturdy.
Squares you see in the pictures are 1 inch by 1 inch, to help you gauge the size of this clamp.
Basically it's 1-1/8" wide and 2-5/8" along each side, with a 90 degree angle amidships. Again, this is pretty heavy, like the other brass items above.

Fancy Brass Corners
These corner decorations are made from stamped brass with an antique gold look.
They're about 1-7/8" along each side, 2-1/4" along the hypotenuse.
They mount with glue or you can run small pins or nails through them.

Fancy Brass Filigree
Sometimes you run across a turnk or box that just needs a little something extra. This is the extra.
Stamped brass decorative filligree is six inches long and about 1-7/8" wide.
Has a rather three dimensionsal look.
