Tray Bracket for the Inside Lid of Your Trunk
Some trunks have a tray inside that can swivel upwards into the lid when the tray is open.
These trunks will have a piece of metal on one side of the tray or the other. and that
piece of metal is meant to be caught on a bracket or catch that looks like this.
These are old original tray brackets, from the late 1800s. Just spares that we found in trunks that no longer had a tray.
They mount with a single nail and swivel loosely. About 4-1/4" long overall, and about 1/16" thick. Nickeled steel.

Old stock trays that somehow
have more or less accumulated in a corner of our barn over the last 3 decades.
These are made with thin
pine boards, some have fabric over that, some have fiber-board bottoms.
All are sold as-is.
Please measure carefully to be sure the tray you select will actually fit
in your trunk.
