The BV Trunk Parts & Hardware Kit

Thinking about building your own steamer trunk/storage trunk/big honkin wood box/cool musical instrument case?  Our Basic Trunk Parts and Hardware Kit may be helpful and it’ll save you a few buck$ at the same time.  We offer a basic kit -you know – handles, corners, feet, lidt stay, lock with keys, etc.  We also offer expanded features like hardwood slats, metal corner edging, a trunk strap set,  – for a more elaborate project.  We offer most of these parts in bright brass, antique brass, and bright nickel, so we can adjust to meet your project needs.  We’ll e-mail you with questions to be sure we ship out what you want to receive.

The basic Trunk Hardware Kit includes these items:

1 Pair of our TH04 leather trunk handles

1 set of our TEC01 Handle end caps

1 large trunk lock

1 large lid stay

1 set of 8 CRNR01 large trunk corners

1 set of 8 CRNR02 trunk edge corners

10 feet of trunk lid edge banding metal (black)

2 each of our HASP2 large hasps

1 set of 4 trunk feet TFT01

2 of our 1/4 pound bags of one inch brass or steel trunk nails

1 set of 4 trunk rosettes to pretty things up a bit

This list adds up to $270 but if you buy the basic kit it’s $250, USA shipping included.

The expanded kit includes everything listed above, plus:

1 set of our Standard Trunk Straps

1 set of 8 strap tabs to keep the straps where they ought to be

4 pieces of black edge corner metal, 36″ long each

8 pieces of black edge corner metal, 28″ long each

6 Hardwood slats for the outside of the trunk

Add these items to the initial list above and it all adds up to $654, but we’re allowing a bit of a discount to bring the price down to $600 flat. and USA shipping is included.
