Cabin Trunk from Right Around 1890 with Working Lock/Key. This is the trunk you’d take aboard rail or ocean liner because it’s only 13 inches tall. Your seat aboard the vessel had 14 inches of clearance, so this trunk would slide right under. Original dark green canvas covering, with our new leather handles and straps. Measures 37 inches long, 21 inches front to back, and, as mentioned, 13-1/2 inches tall. Protected by our tung oil mixture, which is about the same as what the old trunk makers used in the 1880s. We have T1958 set at $400 flat, with 48-state USA shipping included.
