Deer Tan Goat Skins Run 6 to 8 square feet 3 oz thickness. These look very much like vegetable tanned deer hide, but they’re Chromium tanned and came off goats, not deer. Might come in handy for your mountain man gear/outfits, as nobody brings chemical identification apparatus to a rendezvous. These are nice leather but they are SECOND QUALITY hides with a scratch, a small hole, or a cut around the hide some place. $35 each, free USA shipping.
