T1979 Hand Painted Red Wooden Box Trunk. This style of hand-painted box has been quite popular in recent years, with auction house strike prices surpassing expectations. Heres a red box, hand painted, from sometime right around 1880-1900. Measures 30 inches long by 12 inches deep, and it’s about 11-1/2″ tall. Plain wood inside. Nice pine boards.
